Ensure the integrity of doors, locks, and windows, and check for evidence of intrusion or damage to structure and grounds
Check roof, gutters and downspouts (visual from the ground)
Visually check outside AC unit and drain line for obstruction
Verify exterior lighting is functional
Empty mailbox, collect other mailings/papers in driveway or front door and secure indoors
Verify that AC/Heat are operating, and check for humidity-related issues
Perform seasonal adjustment of HVAC settings per homeowner’s instructions
Verify refrigerator, freezer and water heater are operating
Check under sinks for plumbing leaks, operate the garbage disposal, run faucets, showers and flush toilets
Check garage area and breaker panel for tripped breakers
Check for the presence of pests
Turn on/off water from water main if requested by owner
Check integrity of pool cage and screening
Ensure pool and landscaping services are being performed
Forward a report including photos upon completion of an inspection
